Download the Zoom Cloud app on your mobile device (tablet, iPad, or phone) before the shower on October 3rd. Go to your App or Play Store and search for Zoom then download it. This should only take a few minutes.
If you plan to connect via desktop, it will automatically install when you click on the meeting link.
You will need to enter the password emailed to you the morning of the event,Meeting ID: 833 1479 7145 and your name. You do not have to login. Simply download the app, join the meeting, and enter Meeting ID:833 1479 7145.
To join by phone only (audio, no video), please call: 1-312-626-6799. If you have any issues with this number, try: 1-646-558-8656. Meeting ID: 833 1479 7145, Passcode: 494713

General Tips
If possible, try to use an iPad or computer. The screen on the mobile phone is small, however if you are going to use a mobile phone please hold the phone horizontally. Holding the phone horizontally will allow you to see as much as possible.
A good internet connection is most important. Try to stay near the router, if possible. If you exit the Zoom app (toggle to another screen), the reception gets choppy.
Make sure the volume is on and turned up.
Within Zoom, you can use Speaker View (only see the person speaking), or Gallery View (see everyone).
Please be patient as there can be a lag time when people speak. This means one person can be speaking however it take 2 seconds for you to hear it.
Detailed steps to download Zoom on Windows Computer:
Click the meeting link, click Save File in the pop-up window, select a location (you can choose your desktop for easy removal afterward), click Save.
An orange pop-up window appears, click on where you downloaded the file. The file name is zoom.launcher.exe.
Click Run when a pop-up window appears with the question: [Do you want to run this file?] A progress bar appears and should only take a few minutes to run.
Enter your name when the pop-up window appears, Click Enter.
Click Join Audio Conference by Computer when pop-up window appears.
Detailed steps to download Zoom on iOS (iPhone or iPad):
Click the meeting link, click Open when pop-up window appears "This will open in another app."
Click the download button when pop-up appears for Zoom Cloud Meeting in the App Store. Once downloaded, click Open.
Click Join a Meeting, enter Meeting ID: 833 1479 7145, Password will be emailed to you and your name.
Click OK to access both camera and microphone.
