I live in California but have family in Chicago and England so a virtual shower was a great way to be able to include long distance friends and family. I ended up having my baby early and Mary was very accommodating with last minute schedule changes and she even added a section to the website to include pictures of my newborn (still in the NICU at the time).
One thing she did that I really loved was to send out cards with baby shower themed questions, which everyone filled out and sent back to me. When we opened them all on the day of the shower it felt like playing a shower game with all my guests, even the ones that were only there virtually or couldn't attend at all. Plus the detail on the card matched the decorations Mary had sent me so we could hang them all up after opening.
