If you have concerns, please consider setting up a test meeting with Mary before the shower. Mary - [email protected], 708-341-8794.

If you plan to connect via:

• Mobile device (tablet, iPad or phone) - Download the Zoom Cloud app before the shower, Feb. 20th. Go to your App or Play Store and search for Zoom. This should only take a few minutes.
• Desktop or laptop (recommended) - Zoom will automatically install when you click on the meeting link. Note: you don't have to login, simply join the meeting.

 

• To join the virtual baby shower on February 20th at 2:30pm PST (5:30pm EST)​: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83846659010?pwd=aGZUUHRnZERBZW9Oa3RXdTNUdW15UT09​.
• Enter Password - this will be emailed to you the morning of Feb. 20th.
• You may need to enter Meeting ID and password. Email Mary at [email protected] with any questions.
• You do not have to login. Simply download the app, join the meeting, and enter Meeting ID and password. 
• To join via phone only dial: 1-669-900-6833 or https://zoom.us/u/LCpwl.

General Tips

• If possible, try to use an iPad or computer. The screen on the mobile phone is small, however if you are going to use a mobile phone please hold the phone horizontally. Holding the phone horizontally will allow you to see as much as possible.
• A good internet connection is most important. Try to stay near the router, if possible. If you exit the Zoom app (toggle to another screen), the reception gets choppy.
• Make sure the volume is on and turned up.
• Within Zoom, you can use Speaker View (only see the person speaking), or Gallery View (see everyone).

Detailed steps to download Zoom on Windows Computer:

• Click the meeting link, click Save File in the pop-up window, select a location (you can choose your desktop for easy removal afterward), click Save.
• An orange pop-up window appears, click on where you downloaded the file. The file name is zoom.launcher.exe.
• Click Run when a pop-up window appears with the question: [Do you want to run this file?] A progress bar appears and should only take a few minutes to run.
• Enter your name when the pop-up window appears, Click Enter.
• Click Join Audio Conference by Computer when pop-up window appears.

Detailed steps to download Zoom on iOS (iPhone or iPad):

• Click the meeting link, click Open when pop-up window appears "This will open in another app."
• Click the download button when pop-up appears for Zoom Cloud Meeting in the App Store. Once downloaded, click Open.
• Click Join a Meeting, enter Meeting ID, password and your name.
• Click OK to access both camera and microphone.

*You can always download Zoom Cloud meetings directly from the App Store.*
